Where our network already ships

Each destination sets its own documentation and audit expectations. We plan the programme around those requirements from the first shipment rather than discovering them at the port.

Spain and France as anchor markets

European Union

The EU absorbs the largest share of Moroccan fruit exports across nearly every category we source. Short sea and road transit, mature phytosanitary procedures and established retail specifications make it the fastest market to start a programme in. Spain and France anchor the flow, with Belgium, Netherlands and Italy taking meaningful volume in specific categories.

BRCGS-led retail expectations

United Kingdom

UK retail buyers work to BRCGS as a practical entry condition and expect documented ethical audit alongside it. We match UK programmes to packing houses already carrying that stack, which removes the most common cause of delay when opening a new supply line.

Fast-growing destination

Germany

Germany is the fastest-growing destination in our network, notably for pomegranates and dates, with citrus volume rising alongside. Buyers here tend to be specification-driven and reward consistent grading across a full season.

Free trade agreement in force

United States

Morocco is the only African country with a free trade agreement with the United States, which materially changes the tariff arithmetic for US-bound programmes. US shipments additionally require FSMA and FSVP compliance, including supplier verification, which we build into the documentation pack from the first shipment.

Organic equivalency recognised

Canada

Canadian buyers of Moroccan dates and berries generally work through the recognised organic equivalency route. Cold chain planning matters more here given transit length, so we favour partners with proven long-haul reefer performance.

Winter avocado and date demand

Middle East / GCC

The Gulf pays a premium for winter avocado supply and remains a core date market. ISO 22000 is the preferred food safety standard on these routes, and halal-compliant handling at the processing stage is arranged where the buyer requires it.

Emerging opportunities

Southeast Asia is early stage

Southeast Asia, in particular Singapore and Malaysia, is developing as a destination for Moroccan citrus and dates. Volumes are early stage and we treat them as opportunities to build rather than established programmes.

A note on the US agreement

Morocco is the only African country with a free trade agreement in force with the United States. For US-bound buyers this changes the landed-cost arithmetic against other origins, and it sits alongside FSMA and FSVP obligations that we build into the documentation pack.
